The signs behind a photographer mean quality!!!Ever wonder what CPP, M. Photog., or Cr. Photog.
stands for? Perhaps you have seen them after the name of a photographer. The abbreviations
stand for Certified Professional Photographer, Master Photographer, and Craftsman
Photographer.
These designations indicate that photographers using
them maintain the highest performance standards in their profession and have reached the
pinnacle of professional achievement.
Because photographers who hold these titles represent the creme-de-la-creme of their profession, you can be sure they will consistently deliver only the finest-quality product. They are experienced, hard working business persons deeply committed to excellence in all aspects of photography , to the highest ethical standards, and to continuously upgrade their professional skills.
M. Photog., and Cr. Photog. are PPAs prestigious degree programs. Their underlying objective, to consistently provide and encourage original, imaginative, creative photography, stimulates members to concentrate on their professional development.
To qualify for a degree, candidates must earn 25 merits. Candidates receive merits by winning PPA sponsored competitions or for outstanding service to the profession. The next time you are looking for the very best in photography, call us at TEBO Photography. Gary is only one of 202 photographers worldwide and the only photographer in Rhode Island that has earned all three degrees from PPA. It is unprofessional and fraudulent for a photographer to use one of the symbols unless they have earned the right to do so. If a photographer says they are Master, Craftsman, or Certified, ask to see their medal, degree plaque or certificate.
